Holly Lucille, ND RN
Dr. Holly Lucille, ND, RN, is a nationally recognized and licensed naturopathic doctor, educator, natural products consultant, and television and radio host. She is also the author of several books including Creating and Maintaining Balance: A Women’s Guide to Safe, Natural, Hormone Health and The Healing Power of Trauma Comfrey.
An acclaimed expert in the field of integrative medicine, Dr. Lucille lectures on a variety of natural health topics. Her appearances include national media programs and networks such as Dr. Oz and The Doctors. She is regularly quoted in both consumer and peer journals, and was listed in Time magazine’s “Alt List” as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People.” In 2012 she launched her own talk show, “Myth-Defying with Dr. Holly and is now the host of the podcast “Mindful Medicine” on RadioMD and Itunes.
Dr. Lucille believes in the science, art and mystery of healing and has a heartfelt passion for the individual wellness of all people. Her private practice in Los Angeles, Healing from Within Healthcare, focuses on comprehensive naturopathic medicine and individualized care.
Thom Kruzel, ND
Thomas A. Kruzel N.D. is a naturopathic physician who is in private practice at the Rockwood Natural Medicine Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He received a BA in Biology from the California State University at Northridge, and his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kruzel is also a board-certified Medical Technologist. He completed 2 years of Family Practice Medicine residency at the Portland Naturopathic Clinic where he was chief resident and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine prior to entering private practice. He has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at National College of Naturopathic Medicine where he has taught Clinical Laboratory Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Clinical Urology. He is the author of the Homeopathic Emergency Guide, A Quick Reference Handbook to Effective Homeopathic Care published by North Atlantic Books and the Natural Medicine Pediatric Home Health Advisor and has published numerous articles in The Journal of Naturopathic Medicine as well as other publications. He is also the past president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and was selected as Physician of the Year by the AANP in 2000 and Physician of the Year by the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association in 2003.
Valerie Campbell, MACP
Valerie Campbell, MACP, Principal of Valerie Campbell & Associates, has dedicated her career to the charitable sector in Canada and the U.S. for 20+ years, and has worked with more than 100 charities. She specializes in strategic and operational planning, capital fund raising (including multi site organizations), large gift development, facilitation, executive management, mentoring, training, and organizational transformation. A leader in collaboration and mergers, she has led some of Canada’s largest charitable merger programs.
Her experience is diverse, having worked with hospitals, colleges, private schools, and social services, particularly in the area of capacity building.
Valerie is a hybrid professional in the philanthropic sector. She has cross-discipline experience and expertise in consulting, and executive staff management/operational roles within charities and foundations, as well governance having served as a director (and officer) for many charitable boards.
Michelle Simon, PhD, ND
As president and CEO of INM, Dr. Simon brings her passion for working with organizations dedicated to improving the quality and delivery of healthcare. This desire stems from her years of practice as a licensed naturopathic physician. In addition to holding a Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University she also holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She has served on boards for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Naturopathic Physicians Research Institute (NPRI), and several advisory boards. Dr. Simon served nine years on the Washington State Health Technology Clinical Committee, as Ambassador to the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM) and was recognized as 2018 AANP Physician of the Year. Dr. Simon shares with her husband a passion for adventure travel, preferably by boat or motorcycle. She also enjoys teaching a women’s off-road motorcycling class.
Joe Pizzorno, ND
Joseph E. Pizzorno, Jr., ND, one of the world’s leading authorities on science-based natural medicine, was appointed to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy by President Clinton in December 2000 and to the Medicare Coverage Advisory Committee by President Bush’s administration in November 2002.
A physician, educator, researcher, and expert spokesperson, Dr. Pizzorno is founding president of Bastyr University. He is editor-in-chief of Integrative Medicine: A Clinicians Journal, a member of the scientific review board of the Gateway for Cancer Research, and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Institute for Functional Medicine. Laura Culberson Farr
Laura Culberson Farr has served as Executive Director of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians since 2017, and was the Executive Director of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians for 12 years prior. A political organizer by training, her advocacy work as a grassroots organizer and consultant spans over 20 years.
Among her leadership roles, Mrs. Farr has worked on several landmark ballot measures in Oregon, including passage of Vote by Mail and several measures to increase tobacco taxes as a public health policy to decrease cigarette use. She has also worked on many successful legislative advocacy campaigns ranging from creating smoke-free workplaces to expanding the naturopathic formulary.
She has a deep knowledge of the complexities of healthcare reform, and has become an expert on how naturopathic doctors, conventional clinics and insurers can work together to improve patient care and reduce healthcare costs. She is married to a naturopathic physician and is passionately committed to integrating naturopathic medicine into primary care systems across the country.
