She’s an expert in strategic planning, fundraising, executive management, mentoring, and organizational transformation. Notably, she’s pioneered significant charitable mergers in Canada. With a varied background, Valerie has served hospitals, educational institutions, and social services. Her distinct expertise spans consulting, executive roles in charities and foundations, and governance, having been a director for multiple charitable boards.
Bio
Valerie Campbell, MACP, Principal of Valerie Campbell & Associates, is a Registered Psychotherapist, certified EMDR therapist and a Precision Health Alliance health coach. She has dedicated her career to the charitable sector in Canada and the U.S. for 20+ years, and has worked with more than 100 charities. She specializes in strategic and operational planning, capital fund raising (including multi site organizations), large gift development, facilitation, executive management, mentoring, training, and organizational transformation. A leader in collaboration and mergers, she has led some of Canada’s largest charitable merger programs.
Her experience is diverse, having worked with hospitals, colleges, private schools, and social services, particularly in the area of capacity building.
Valerie is a hybrid professional in the philanthropic sector. She has cross-discipline experience and expertise in consulting, and executive staff management/operational roles within charities and foundations, as well governance having served as a director (and officer) for many charitable boards.
