Bio
Dr. Sabine Thomas is a Naturopathic Physician and co-owner of JSOL STUDIOS LLC, a family-wellness centered and nature-embodied organization. Her career has been shaped by her training as a Naturopathic Physician, an NIH Post-doctoral fellowship, and interdisciplinary work that bridges natural health and technology applications. As a research-focused practitioner, she designed “Dermatology in Color,” an innovative course addressing gaps in medical education by ensuring healthcare professionals can recognize skin conditions across diverse skin tones.
Dr. Thomas’s approach to natural health centers around the whole person—mental, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions—with a particular emphasis on cultural healing and community-based interventions. Her work integrates the healing power of nature (vis medicatrix naturae) with modern research methodologies, focusing on health equity for communities of color. She offers group medical visits that combine clinical care, health education, and peer support, representing an innovative model for community-centered healthcare research and practice. Her interdisciplinary background uniquely positions her to contribute research perspectives that bridge traditional naturopathic principles with contemporary healthcare applications and STEM innovations.
