Robin L Shapiro

Robin Shapiro is board chair and co-founder of the nonprofit HealthAdvocateX. As a nationally recognized pioneer in the health advocacy movement with over 30 years of experience, Robin has empowered people to become active participants in their health care. She founded several award-winning companies, including Health Advocacy Strategies and Health Perspectives Group (now REVERBA), and co-founded Allied Health Advocates, the first independent health advocacy company in Washington state. Author of the 2019 book, The Secret Language of Healthcare: How to Ask for the Care You Deserve, Robin is also the incoming co-president of the International Women’s Forum—Washington State.
