Robert Luby, MD

Dr. Luby is a seasoned physician, educator, and thought leader with more than 30 years of experience advancing medical education and functional medicine. Since 2025, he has served as Strategic Advisor of Medical Affairs at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), where he supports public affairs, advocacy initiatives, and the Functional Medicine Certification Program™. Dr. Luby has extensive experience delivering care in community health settings and applying functional medicine in underserved populations. He has held teaching roles at Harvard, UMass Amherst, Tufts, Boston University, the University of Vermont, and the University of Wisconsin.
