Nathan Sackett, MD, MS

Dr. Sackett is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine and director of the Center for Novel Therapeutics in Addiction Psychiatry. As an addiction psychiatrist, he has examined the relationship between substance use and mental health.

He completed medical training at the University of California, San Francisco; graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley; and a psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Sackett divides his time between clinical care and research, treating patients while studying psychedelics that enhance psychotherapy and support behavioral change.
