Amy Sear, BS, AP, Dipl. AHM (NCBAHM)

Amy Sear earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University andcompleted Masters Level Oriental Medicine education from the AcupressureAcupuncture Institute in Miami, FL. She has been a licensed Acupuncturist inFlorida since 1997, and holds a National Board Certification in Acupuncture andHerbal Medicine from the National Certification Board of Acupuncture and HerbalMedicine, the NCBAHM.Amy is a full time Acupuncturist with Memorial Healthcare Systems of SouthFlorida in their Integrative Medicine Department. She is a teacher at two schoolsof Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in FL, teaching since 2000. She isconsidered an expert in Laws, Ethics, and Safety.She has served on many committees and organizations within the Acupuncturecommunity, including the NCBAHM committees for recertification, continuingeducation and professional development activities. Amy served as President ofthe Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA) from 2004 to 2010, andcurrently serves on the Florida Board of Acupuncture of the Florida Departmentof Health, appointed by the Governor.
