Empower.

A searchable database to find licensed naturopathic practitioners near you.

NM is teaming up with local child- and youth-focused community centers to support lifelong health among children and their families in at-risk communities through our Naturally Well program. Naturally Well employs licensed naturopathic doctors to teach health and cooking classes at kid-centered community spaces, such as local Boys and Girls Clubs or the YMCA.

The 44-page paper was issued at a time when the nation’s healthcare workforce is facing a significant undersupply of physicians to meet the growing needs of a system encumbered by pandemic-related requirements. The authors’ intention is to demonstrate how licensed naturopathic physicians, who have graduated from accredited naturopathic medical schools, are uniquely equipped to address this workforce dilemma, respond to healthcare disparities, curb increasing costs, manage chronic conditions, stimulate a passion for prevention and health promotion strategies, and solve some of the challenges associated with declining patient satisfaction in healthcare today.

The Institute for Natural Medicine hosts the NMC, a cooperative group of 80+ stakeholder organizations from the naturopathic medicine profession and other allied groups. This collaborative allows national, state and specialty associations, accredited naturopathic medical colleges, research institutions and other leaders within naturopathic and integrative medicine to work together to advance the profession.

Evolve.

The INM Residency Consortium (IRC) is a new, sustainable model for naturopathic residency programs. Success of this model affords the opportunity for a significant increase in additional hands-on, practical training opportunities available to new, licensed naturopathic doctors across the United States and Canada.

Interprofessional education (IPE) strengthens health practitioners’ roles on care teams and helps ensure patients benefit from the collective expertise of a connected healthcare system. INM is committed to fostering high-quality IPE opportunities that bring together healthcare providers from diverse disciplines.
