Why Should I Attend?
The data is clear: balanced nutrition, stress management, and good habits during pregnancy are the foundation for a child’s healthy future. Even more, cutting-edge new research in epigenetics suggests that the lifestyle choices of all of us, regardless of life stage or sex, can have a hundred-year-long impact on future generations.
Whether empowering yourself with practical knowledge, educating others in your community, or inspiring you and those around you to connect with a larger purpose when making lifestyle choices, this free webinar will be a can’t-miss opportunity to learn about the latest research directly from the experts.
Who Will Be There?
This event will feature Kent Thornburg, PhD, FAPS, epigenetics expert, professor of medicine emeritus, and the former M. Lowell Edwards Chair of Cardiovascular Research at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Thornburg is a leading researcher on this subject and chairs the National Institutes of Health Nutrition in Pregnancy Taskforce.
Joining him will be Michelle Simon, PhD, ND, who will moderate the conversation and offer the provider’s perspective from her 20+ years as a naturopathic physician who has centered nutrition in her practice.
What Will I Learn?
With invaluable insights into nutrition, the impacts of stress, environmental toxins, and lifestyle choices, attendees will leave well-equipped to build strong foundations for the next generation and beyond, both in their own lives and the communities they live in and serve. You will also have the opportunity to have your questions answered directly by Drs. Thornburg and Simon during our live Q and A session.
