Bio
Dr. Miles is a Naturopathic Doctor who obtained her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, one of seven accredited four-year naturopathic medical schools in North America. Her journey into natural medicine began through personal experience with complex digestive health challenges, including IBS, food intolerances, and systemic symptoms that conventional gastroenterology could not adequately address. This personal health journey sparketd her deep commitment to understanding the interconnected nature of chronic illness and the body’s capacity for healing through comprehensive natural approaches.
Dr. Miles provides integrative and natural approaches to kidney function, cardiovascular health, digestion, autoimmunity, endocrine imbalances, and prevention. She enjoys educating via articles, webinars, in-person presentations, social media, podcasts, and radio shows. She is a medical writer and has written for traditional, integrative, naturopathic, and functional medicine sources. Dr. Miles is the author of Natural Approaches to High Blood Pressure and Low Kidney Function.
Dr. Miles’ unique perspective as both a practitioner who has personally navigated chronic illness and a clinician trained in evidence-based natural medicine brings valuable insight to understanding patient-centered outcomes and the effectiveness of integrative treatment protocols.
